Raghavan Sampathkumar is a well-versed agribusiness professional with 20+ years of experience working across the Asia Pacific region in diverse sectors including agri-inputs, protein (animal & plant), value chain financing, international trade, and agri biotechnology. He has a Bachelors in Agriculture and MBA from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Coimbatore and earned his Masters in Agribusiness from University of Adelaide, Australia. Prior to joining FSII, Raghavan was the Head – Policy Advocacy & External Affairs, at Samunnati and has also worked with reputed industry associations viz., CropLife Asia, Singapore, as Director – Stewardship, and CLFMA of India, Mumbai as Executive Director.
With his 360-degree holistic understanding of the Agri-Food value chain, Raghavan is a sought after Thought Leader in the field of global agri-food trends, FPO ecosystem, financial inclusion, food & nutritional security, Agtech, and sustainability.
Dr Kumria runs the day to day affairs of Alliance for Agri Innovation (AAI) and its relations with stakeholders related to Agri Biotech especially in Government and Regulatory Agencies. She keeps continuous track of latest scientific and policy developments and biotech advocacy. Dr Kumria has a Ph.D in genetics from University of Delhi, South Campus. She did her post-doctoral studies at ICGEB-New Delhi and Donald Danforth Center, Saint Louis, Missouri. Previously, she has worked with DuPont Pioneer at DuPont Knowledge Center for trait discovery. She led a team responsible for characterizing a transgene undergoing de-regulation and high throughput evaluation platform for lead identification for maize at DuPont Pioneer.
Kuldeep Tyagi is a management professional with over 20 years of experience in consensus building, policy advocacy, industry relationships, trade, capacity building, conceptualization, and delivery of business networking platforms.
He has done Masters in business administration and BSC from Sikkim Manipal University, before joining FSII he was heading marketing at Skymet Weather Services and had a long stint of 13 years at Confederation of Indian Industry where he worked with AgTech, Agro Chemicals, Dairy, Irrigation, Geospatial tech on policy advocacy, business networking.
Surabhi, a seasoned communications professional with a Masters degree in Journalism and Mass Communications, has over 7 years of diverse media expertise. Notably, she received recognition from the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri. Narendra Modi for spearheading the award-winning “Eco Warrior” campaign at 94.3 Radio One, Hindustan Times. Her impactful professional journey includes leadership roles in Google News Initiative’s outreach and communications for India’s workshops and summits. With a rich background of working with reputed organizations including India Today, Times Now, Hindustan Times, and Dataleads, Surabhi excels in communications, social media outreach, and public relations, showcasing a diverse skill set in the media landscape.
Varun is a graduate in Arts and have more than 9 years of experience. He worked as an Office Coordinator with Convertech Equipment Okhla. Prior to Convertech, he was associated with All India Distillers Association Delhi as an Executive Assistant for close to 5 years, before this organization, he worked as a Sr. Executive Assistant with Aravali Infrapower Limited Delhi for 5 and a half years. As the Office Coordinator of FSII, he takes care of all administrative activities such as Office Management, Travel arrangements, Vendor Management, Scheduling appointments and meetings among others.
With over 2 years of professional experience in accounting, she works as an Account executive in FSII. Ms Tomar handles the accounts, financial reports and budgets of the organisation. She has an MBA in Finance.
